Comments: A view of the Clarke County Courthouse in Berryville, Virginia. Designed by David Meade and completed in 1838, the building was remodeled in 1850 in a Greek Revival style. The courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register. In the foreground is a memorial to Confederate veterans of Clarke County, erected in 1900.
